Lesson 11: Personal Protection and Data Protection

  In this lesson we are going to talk about important tips and information that we need to know when using our computer: Nowadays we use our devices for everything, and they contain a lot of private information that we need to protect against possible cyber attacks. Therefore there are som recommendations that we should consider: - Keep our devices updated. - Use safe passwords (there are websites where you can check how good your password is). - Clean regularly your devices from cookie information. - Try to hide your wifi so that only those who know its name can have access to it. - Beware of spam emails that you may receive and always check the information and the source, to make sure that nobody is trying to trick you.  In addition, because of the importance of technologies nowadays, we also spend a lot of time in front of our computers. 26. 02. 21 THEORICAL PART: 📶 During this lesson we learnt some useful theorical concepts such as: Web 1.0, Web 2.0 or Social Web, Prosumers or Digital Identity. 🔌 At the same time we saw how Virtual Learning Communities are important in order to help us. These Virtual Leaning Community can be consisted of Forums, Web Pages, Instant Messaging Applications or Social Networks .  19. 02. 21 🕃 THEORICAL PART: 💥 In today's lesson I was able to learn about recognizing what a digital content is. It is any form of data or information in digital form (electronic files), as opposed to physical form (analog). Therefore, we have many examples as documents, presentations, images and videos, etc. 👉After that, we saw that there are two types of software :  system software which has operating system, file management utilities, disk operating systems, etc. (example: android) and application software (example: word). Continuing with the software topic, we understood the meanings of software licenses as we can generally classify them in 4 types from the point of view of the license: Copyrigt ( Traditional licence) : you pay for the privilege of using software.  Free software: you have the freedom to modify the source code of this software and you can redistribute it.  Freeware: this software is distributed free, but have copyright and you can’t change the source

17.02.21 ✔ THEORICAL PART: In this lesson I have learnt about Cloud data sotrage and retrieval . 🔋Cloud Computing which is understood as a paradigm that makes it possible to offer computing services (for example blogs) over a network, usually the Internet. It is everything that a computer system can offer is offered as a service. At the same type we saw that there are mainly three type of clouds: • Public Cloud: In this type of cloud, data and processes from multiple clients are mixed in servers, storage systems and other cloud infrastructures. • Private Clouds: are on-demand infrastructure, managed for a single client that controls which applications should run where. • Hybrid clouds: combine public and private cloud models. 12.02.21 T HEORICAL PART: ✅ During this firts lesson we have learnt many things: First of all what are specifically a Web and Internet, we could understand them as: 💠 Internet: is the network of machinery that provide access to several communication services. 💠 Web: is a collection of pages with different kind of content. Then a Page is a document or electronic information capable of containing text, sound, video, programs, images and links to other resources that can be accessed through a web browser. We saw also he main difference between web browsers (and its privacy ), and searching engines (and its privacy , some tips , what fake news suppose - fact checking capabilities and how can we know it through different webs with spanish webs as '' Maldito bulo '' or international as '' Snopes ''). 🅗🅔🅛🅛🅞〰 👦 My name is Adrián González and I am from Barcelona but currently I am studying in Madrid .  🏠 The reason is because in Barcelona the Primary Education Degree was not fully in english so I had to come here in order to achieve the full english degree.  🏃 During the summer I have worked as a entretainer where I had been in the ''Miniclub'' of the hotel, so I used to be spedning the time with spanish and international kids.  🎯 As well I have been in summer camps with childs and teenagers, so this is the reason why I decided to start this degree as I think that I am good at languages and I enjoy spending time and learning with others. 📚 According to the subject , I think that I can enjoy it as I like TIC in order to make easier the learning process to everyone.
